Whiskey Unfiltered ("we", "us") runs Whiskey Unfiltered. This policy explains what we collect and why. This is a starting template — have it reviewed by counsel before you rely on it.

What we collect

• Email address — when you subscribe (popup, newsletter form, or contact form). Used only to send you content updates and to reply to your message.
• Contact form details — your name, email, and message.
• Comments — a display name and comment text you submit on reviews (shown publicly once approved).
• Basic technical data — IP address and request logs, used for security, spam prevention, and rate limiting.

Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies: to remember that you passed the age gate, to remember that you subscribed (so we don't nag you), and to keep your session secure. If analytics is turned on, a separate cookie remembers whether you accepted or rejected it. The tag does not load before you accept. We do not sell your data. Cookie settings.

Email & your choices

We use double opt-in — you confirm your email before we send anything. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email us to be removed.

A checked newsletter box on a form is the only way that form adds you to the list. When newsletter delivery is configured, a confirmed address is also shared with that provider. Until then it stays in this site's database.

Sharing

We don't sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate (e.g. our email delivery provider) and when required by law.

Your rights
